Obama's Stimulus Package is Bound to Fail

because the working classes have been as corrupted as the professional classes were, both kowtowing in tandem bobs to the paymasters of the global elite, fed their shares of the pie called elitism, secrecy and tradition, although they lost their souls, and grew thin in the bargain.

That one end of the polarity is represented by the bailed-out Wall Street bankers whose schemes have gone awry, (actually, I think the public high-school sweethearts from Montana who rose to the highest levels of power and disservice in Washington D.C. are a better archetype---Lynn and Dick Cheney,) fixes the other pole end at the co-conspirating union workers who reconstructed the Pentagon for their slices of kickbacks; or the uniformed municipal service workers who priced faking their own deaths on 9/11 at around $2 million each; with enlisted military personal having to share the spoils of war with the ravenous complex, which has grown up around them, thereby "earning" whatever fruit was promised them as their everlasting afterlife.

All these sides feel present in my faceted nature. From my maternal relatives on the Illinois side of the Mississippi river stem a blue-collar class element, alternatively proud, calculating, or beholden; while on my father's side of the river in Iowa, grew the better-educated, professional aspirants to a share in the American dream. Kookily, as metaphor and symbol at least, it is at this geographic point where cities in two states join to form what is known as the Quad Cities, that the Mississippi river runs horizontally across the map, from east to west, for almost a hundred miles, forming the distinctive, snub-nose eastern profile of the state of Iowa.

In some cases, I have remained ignorant of my clan imprinting. On a recent trip homeward, I searched through some family archival material and discovered the following two images. Dating from before World War II, both were inside of a period, drugstore envelope that had been marked in a cursive hand, "Sterl's Farmall Pictures." I'd never seen them before, but I recognize the name "Sterl" as likely being that of my mother's grandfather, "Sterling" Crossman, husband of Isca, father of Mary.
Farmall was one of the big manufacturing plants centered in Rock Island and Moline, Illinois---the "Farm Implement Manufacturing Capital of the World"---home of John Deere & Company, with big Caterpillar, International Harvester, and Case plants alongside.

I can't tell if the men depicted in this ceremonial image manufacture the pallet-driver machinery we see, or are posing alongside the empty tools of some other manufacturing trade, since I never knew my great-grandfather, or have any conscious memory of discussing his livelihood. By my time of life, his daughter, who became my grandmother when she was only 36, owned a tavern, and later, the building it was in.

But this picture speaks to such a deep place in my soul, beyond any sense that here is a missing link in a masculine bloodline I'd been denied awareness of, to the tragedy I see as its inherent message---of what has been lost over time since then, the values we see the men have on display, like collective pride in the role of one's labor, loosing even the ability to take pride in what one does for a living, knowing that every part played in our social contract has become so shamefully warped and interconnectedly corrupted that we can, at best, only consider ourselves lucky to have side stepped the worst of it.

A contract between capital and labor that seems so much more honest and sustainable back then, is reinforced in the second image I discovered, of a strictly male crowd of happy company employees at a Christmas party. While these men don't look as if they had the same callused hands of the pallet drivers, they are indistinguishable from the men who wait table on them, like the two men front and center who make googoo eyes at each other. If everybody's good spirits are rising up from drinking, then it's whiskey in china mugs, and not cocktails they imbibe.

How my great-grandfather fits in to these two class levels escapes me---they look like younger men when the attainment status is higher, or maybe lower class jobs are just harder and wear out a man's looks quicker. But the current legacies of working-class rage appear to be a later rust-belt phenomena, missing from when times were good, and the resentments more manageable (at the close of the 19th century, Deere & Co. was the fifth largest American corporation, making Rock Island/Moline the Silicon Valley of its day.)

With the trillion-dollar band aids of spending money which doesn't even exist being a mere burp to a system which needs a radical purge instead, like figuring out what is real---we take one more step in awakening to our true value and our real meaning, the core purpose, the ultimate truths, which have escaped us for lo these thousands of years.

The Projective Paradox of My High School Senior Year

A Projective test, according to Wikipedia, "in psychology, is a personality test designed to let a person respond to ambiguous stimuli, presumably revealing hidden emotions and internal conflicts. This is different from an "objective test" in which responses are analyzed according to a universal standard (for example, a multiple choice exam). The responses to projective tests are content analyzed for meaning rather than being based on presuppositions about meaning, as is the case with objective tests. Projective tests in general rely heavily on clinical judgment, lack reliability and validity and many have no standardized criteria to compare results to, but are still used frequently. Their popularity despite lack of scientific evidence supporting their results is referred to as the "projective paradox".[1] Projective tests have their origins in psychoanalytic psychology, which argues that humans have conscious and unconscious attitudes and motivations that are beyond or hidden from conscious awareness."

This has to be the best written, or glyphed, thing I ever did in high school, undertaken one period in a hip Psychology class, first semester.

It went like this: seven frames, each with some small starting compositional line or lines. We are asked to complete the drawings, without any further instructions. Afterward, we are debriefed, and this is where I can tell I was hooked, for my notations are in a far more scrupulous hand than was my norm (the misspellings are all-too typical.) The suspense built throughout the seven squares, leading up to the holy of holies----The Constant Hard-On. My memory served me well, but still---the full impact was lost until seeing it again just recently.

Now if I was a therapist, the first thing I would question is the utter lack of orientation the artiste displays. It seems almost perverse the way the "studiee" redirects his horizon plane like a Tibetan prayer wheel, willfully spinning it to cover all the bases. But it is in the sheer symbolic weight behind what he is attempting that literally boggle one's (own) mind! Mechanical ability is Edwardian propriety overwhelmed by natural forces! That the circle would become the sun is perhaps common, sun and face less so, but in that the rectangle would not become the door; instead, the Atlas challenge! Then the archetype of a gridded map, and the gender-paired signs of laser-focused sociability; the struggle inherent in the creative expression, conquering mountains in order "to get home." Sisyphus indeed! Sublime!

But it is in the seventh seal that true historiography is written. Two parallel vertical lines. Oh, how many boys will create the phallic tree symbol? Um...96 percent? How cheap of the era's teacher, to then claim the tree symbol associated sex with marriage and children! Catholic pederasty would be better! The tree associates with only one thing! The mighty manly phallus! But, not, simply, put, here! No here, the tree is broken!

I remembered this frame, with its enshafted shaft, and it's photosynthesizing greenery like a pubic hair crown, very clearly. But what I had forgotten was the sky filled with circling vultures! So many! Ready to pounce on any straggling life forms that may chance to crawl across "the box!" Oh wounded youth! Let me succor you now in my strong healing embrace! Your honesty is your redemption! May you always....

In honor of my public school Psych teacher (um....?); and my divine journalism teacher (er...Mrs.?); and then Mr. Currie, the AP English teacher and head of the department who said I couldn't read and couldn't write---who said that I'd never amount to anything, (I forgive you. I treated you with horrible disrespect. I gave you no work at all.) And most importantly, to Kent Cathcart, the intellectual genius and evolved spiritual master walking humbly amongst men; My Drama Teacher, sniffle; the man who literally saved my life.

That I could pass on such a benevolent influence to the younger generation as he passed on to me, would be the highest aspiration of my life. That we are all stars. Thank you Kent.

The Little Prince of Privilege

On the roof of The Nashville Tennessean building, December 4th, 1966, watching the Christmas parade move down Broadway. Photograph by S.A. Tarkington, staff photographer.

How could I ever have defined myself as being the product of the absence of privilege, especially when such a narrative is so essentially self-serving on its surface? It's not always Andover and Yale, let alone the silver serving utensil used, that defines a sense of unspoken privilege manifesting beneath what's seen, under the differing intents of individuals.

Has such a look of world weariness ever been captured on a nine-year-old's face before? Verging right up to the edge of anger and reproach, but before the distortion when a soul goes into hiding, as human pain fears exposure, the expression seems to say, "I have seen cities of white and you show me Shriners and marching bands?" The view before the subject is an abstraction, like a scene of fireworks over Venice by J.M.W. Turner, and the communication between the photographer and subject could be mutable. It means different things just to me now.

I'd never seen this special image of me before, until this week, 43 years after it was made. The care and handling that kept it safe also protected it from my youthful prying eyes, when it would have been misinterpreted. Now it reinterprets me to myself.

I have a strange and powerful memory of that day. I'd gone to pee, in a bathroom that spoke of manly professionalism, the heavy, expensive stalls fitting like filing cabinet metal. That funny knit cap must have felt loose on my head, and I must have been afraid it would fall off into the water when I bent my head to attend to my business, so I took the cap off, and tucked it under my chin pressed tightly to my neck. Then, when I was almost finished going, for some inexplicable reason, I raised my head up and it just fell into the water, ruining it---in my childish view nothing could touch pee or poo and survive. I have no idea what this could possibly mean to a therapist, but it carries the weight of an Aesop's fable to me, like the one where the fist holding the prize won't let go, letting the hand out of the vessel.

Jonathan Pollard, Mordechai Vanunu, Paul Levy, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush

Once the bad news of Bush and post 9/11 America started shaping up, it became an almost unrelenting surge. Old customary notes of compassion, or joy, or just simple awe and wonder at life almost never came up anymore---but, with one or two exceptions.

One of the earliest analysis I read about President Bush that engendered an unequivocally positive reaction in me was called, "The Madness of George W. Bush: A Reflection of Our Collective Psychosis," by Paul Levy, which also carried the startling-to-me-then subtitle, "Bush’s sickness is our own." This was empowering, in as much as Levy makes a strong case for our collective responsibility for a cultural field of disease, of which George Bush was but one, prominent, manifestation. By requiring me to do some of the necessary work of recovery, I no longer could just sit by helplessly feeling the victim. For better or worse, I invented the standard bearer persona of StevenWarRan in consequence, and the rest is, well, history.

I can legitimately feel feelings of compassion, understanding, sympathy and love for George W. Bush.

Levy's piece was published on January 13th, 2005, and it is still found at the Baltimore Chronicle & Sentinel website, which I believe, was the original publisher. I highly recommend it to everyone as a 6434-word therapeutic tool. Paul Levy describes himself as,
"a healer in private practice, [who] is profiled in the book Saints and Madmen: Psychiatry Opens its Doors to Religion. Steeped in and inspired by the work of Swiss-German psychoanalyst C. G. Jung, Levy is an innovator in the field of dreaming. He has had over forty articles published on consciousness, dreaming and spirituality, and has lectured about his work at various universities. A Tibetan Buddhist practitioner for over 20 years, he has studied with some of the great masters of Tibet and Burma. Inspired by the Bush Administration, Levy describes himself as "a spiritually-informed political activist." He is currently writing a book about his work. Visit his website at awakeninthedream.com or write him at paul@awakeninthedream.com.
Rereading it again after several years it gives me the same feeling of deep satisfaction I felt when I originally read it. Levy seems to have got it exactly right I should image.

I say all of this by way of a long preamble. We all should work toward maintaining our dignity, our hopes, and our humanity, as we move into whatever the hell it is that is next in store for us. I personally need to be reminded of this often, and give a little extra push to search out the positive aspects to experiences. So what I really wanted to say from the beginning here is, George W. Bush's leave-taking from office in Washington D.C. this week was a dignified, becoming exit that deserves our commendation.

He decamped cleanly, without fanfare, and thankfully, without adding any thing more to our national burdens. I speak specifically about his foregoing of most pardons, for individuals like Scooter Libby, but abstractly, for the rumored hypothetical class of "people who may have done something illegal or wrong while earnestly undertaking their duties in the War on Terrorism."

And I had been reading in the Israeli press about a concerted effort underway from Jews at home and abroad seeking the freedom of convicted Israeli spy Jonathon Pollard by means of a presidential pardon. Supposedly, so many pro-Pollard calls were flooding the White House switchboard in recent weeks they dwarfed every other appeal combined. But the politics of the case, and the probable damage to our nation's security Pollard caused, which can never be publicly known, had America standing up to Israel, if in only this one case.

Phalanxes of the highest-level American security operatives had repeatedly threatened mass resignations should Pollard ever be released from prison, even after decades behind bars for him now. That says a great deal actually.

This reminds me---do you know who is looking very good these days?

Mordechai Vanunu, seen in this image from July 3, 2003 while awaiting his parole hearing at the district courthouse in Beersheva, the shot taken by my newest photographer to loath, Haim Horenstein. (I never said I was perfect.)

Vanunu was the Israeli double-agent who confirmed knowledge that Israel possessed an arsenal of nuclear weapons, thereby he did the worldwide balance of powers some degree of service. The United States certainly didn't want to keep knowledge of the weapon secret from its potential opponents, that's why we used it twice, so why should Israel benefit from an unknown holding?

I forget his story exactly, but he was said to have been caught by utilizing a "honey pot," an attractive female agent who lured him into bed and then a jail cell. It looks to me like she could have had some fun with this duty.

Contrast Vanunu's image with that of Jonathan Pollard's I.D. photograph, from his U.S. Naval Intelligence job, probably taken in October 1984, when he started.

I choose not to try to imagine how Pollard must look today after his long imprisonment, with his first seven years in solitary confinement, for which I feel genuine anguish. But the limited signals we are allowed to receive in the matter would lead me to believe he doesn't resemble the handsome, beaming, healthy visage of a just-pre-release Vanunu.

Read Jonathan Pollard's entry in Wikipedia, to hear of an American Jew from Galveston, Texas who began to "blame [...] hostility directed at him on antisemitism." As "[h]e began to focus on Israel as a place where Jews could be free from attack," according to Joseph Sobran's Territory of Lies, book review in the National Review from June 16, 1989. Sound familiar?

So Bush, contrary to the appalling example set by Bill Clinton, (and I had to get one more dig in here somewhere, folks,) has earned my grudging respect, even if his actions stemmed from an utter lack of political capital---he did the right thing, for the right reasons, as far as I'm concerned, when he could just as well have done the opposite. I latch on to signs of American independence from the influence of foreign governments such as that of Israel's---as the drowning must reach out for life preservers, or the blind...

Bill Wilson, the Co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous

was a genius, but he didn't let that go to his head. In fact, he ascribed assistance in some of his writing to "spirit guides"---higher powers, if you will. I think the proof can be found in the many transcendent passages throughout his important works, which in their power to alleviate sorrow and pain, can be seen in modern terms as "channeled" information of a very high order.

AA, and its many derivatives, have nothing to do with self-help. It is at heart, the purest form of altruism and benevolence known to man, and as such, should be seriously considered as a basis for the new world order we keep hearing so much about. But there are some necessary corollaries, however. Since it is essential to the work (and its divine payback, the "magnificent reality," it leaves as a consequence,) that one must take no public credit for any accomplishments under its guise, as it regards normal ego gratification, it turns some of the basic underpinnings of our current society on their heads.

In his lifetime, Wilson turned down such honors as a doctorate from Yale. He declined, for instance, to let Time magazine name him man of the year, even if using only his first name and last initial, with only a photograph of the back of his head on the cover. (That would have been a brilliant stunt, and I would have bent the rules to see it happen if I were in charge, but, alas.)

Since Wilson was, and remained, a deeply flawed human being, I can just imagine how much these deferrals cost him in psychic pain. He would be delighted to learn after all, that in 1999, Time magazine went ahead and named him in the top 20 of the 100 most influential people of the 20th century. (With Albert Einstein making it to number one.) Aldous Huxley called Wilson "the greatest social architect of our century."

It is in that way, organizationally speaking, where AA can teach all of us a thing or two. For instance, it eschews the accumulation of more money or power than necessary to do its work, and this should be a clear foundation stone for our nation's health. It also says that "great love and great suffering are our only disciplinarians."

As a bit of evidence of his foresight, I will quote an obscure paragraph from his work, Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions, which Wilson wrote in 1952. I say "obscure," because even among devotees, little attention is paid to the end of the book---the "12 traditions," which describe the accumulated wisdom of the group's first 14-years of evolution. The passage is from Tradition Ten, found on page 176 of my sixty-fifth printing. The added emphasis is all mine:
"As by some deep instinct, we A.A.'s have known from the very beginning that we must never, no matter what the provocation, publicly take sides in any fight, even a worthy one. All history affords us the spectacle of striving nations and groups finally torn asunder because they were designed for, or tempted into, controversy. Others fall apart because of sheer self-righteousness while trying to enforce upon the rest of mankind some millennium of their own specification. In our own times, we have seen millions die in political and economic wars often spurred by religious and racial difference. We live in the imminent possibility of a fresh holocaust to determine how men shall be governed, and how the products of nature and toil shall be divided among them. That is the spiritual climate in which A.A. was born, and by God's grace has nevertheless flourished."
Israel was designed for the present controversy, by English aristocrats who got to write the history books after World War II. America is in great danger by allaying herself to an experimental theocratic anomaly of just 60-years standing. Israel has no other objective reality, no basis in collective thought or aspiration or word.

(Jews would be hard pressed to prove a chain of title to dominion over any part of the Middle East---although they lived safely there in great numbers, empowered amongst the Arabs, for centuries, before they asserted their inner Talmudic warrior chest-thumping passions. I think their beef should be with Rome actually. Sue for damages from AD70, if you must. And Jews might realize, much of the world does not find their literature at all holy---let alone universally binding. And while I'm at it, thanks a lot for reviving a dead language too, that's been real useful.)

Israel's supposed Genesis, the German holocaust against the Jews in the 1930's and 40's, has been misremembered, misapplied, and misused, in many cases fabricated in both detail and outline out of whole cloth, in order to work toward false, nefarious, arbitrary and selfish ends, by Jewish leaders who have kept their populace under such constant traumatization they now suffer from extreme group paranoia. That collective illness now threatens the very core survival of the planet.

I am disgusted with the abysmal acting seen in these Israeli poses. Look at this Reuters image by Eric Gaillard:
The caption tells us, "Israelis take cover before a rocket fired lands in Beersheba, at the funeral of Israeli soldier Alex Mashavisky, January 7, 09."

That coat over your head is a no-go, dear. So is shielding your face with your hand honey; or turning to kneel against the wall---that's not for everywhere. This is all so stupid it is beneath contempt---more so because Beersheba is 40 Kilometers away from Gaza, over twice the distance any Hamas rocket had ever traveled prior to December 27, 2008, when the miraculous appearance of the new and improved !Wonder-Hamas! rocket, smuggled in a year earlier during the breach, we are told, but left unused, then missed in all the jet strikes---so they could get an Israeli kill, with three more on the 29th! Oy!

Don't you think that whatever can be smuggled into Gaza beyond Marlboro's and cooking oil and a goat or two, happens with the approval, if not at the actual behest of, Mossad? It's clear to me that since Egyptian intelligence chief Suleiman does all the regular negotiating between the parties, he is in a functioning role.

See US-funded program fails to stop smuggling through tunnels at Egypt-Gaza border by Anna Johnson and Omar Sinan of the Associated Press, January 7, 2009 here
"Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit stressed that the tunnels were not a new problem, but he denied that weapons were being smuggled.

"The tunnels have always been there. We have been trying to control them. But the tunnels are there because the crossings are closed and there is a siege and there is starvation," he told Al-Arabiya television earlier this week. "Those who say they are being used to smuggle weapons and equipment are deluded. Weapons are coming through the sea."
See how he cooperates with reality being imposed by Israel, in attempting to justify an answer for what he takes at face value and may assume to be true: that Hamas is in receipt of weapons Israel truly wishes they didn't have---by naming the sea as a route. But others in the international arms community know the truths held in balance between all the arms-manufacturing, and arms-procuring states---as the quartet negotiates what other nations can, and can not do. If China has been manufacturing munitions in the same hand-held, 120-mm caliber as Hamas legacy rockets, but having twice the range, increased lethality, and improvements to so-called "aiming," (ha, ha, ha, ha,) it could only be at the special behest of the master Israel, in service of its own agenda. That is Israel's total battlefield dominance, or total false-flag reality in you will, a concept which has now been busted wide open, so hopefully, it may never work again.

Israel manufactured the four civilian deaths that gave cause to her latest episode of Palestinian slaughter, killing over 1,300 Palestinians, including as many as 400 still innocent, if Jew-hating, children. You do understand what I mean by "manufactured" don't you? It means Israel does the killing itself. Nicely orchestrated, with composed images from all the killing sites via the controlled media of Haim Horenstein and Edi Israel and their likes. Reports and files and such.

This is a very pretty photograph, with a nice diagonal line of composition, and good hair, but it means absolutely nothing! It is bereft of any truth! It's only value is to serve as false public relations.

Read the following caption:
An Israeli woman and her two children take cover during a rocket attack near Kfar Aza, just outside the northern Gaza Strip January 7, 2009. The woman came to meet her husband, an Israeli army officer currently serving on the Gaza border. Rockets exploded as they were waiting for him. Israel postponed on Wednesday a decision on whether to order its armed forces to storm the Gaza Strip's urban centres, an Israeli official said, citing Egyptian- and French-led efforts to secure a truce with Hamas. REUTERS/Baz Ratner (ISRAEL)
Can that be true! Do Jews take gentiles for fools, really? Officials would allow a mother with her two young children to meet her soldier/husband/father, directly next to the boundaries of a war zone, on January 7? As though it were an iffy neighborhood in Boston and one needed to be careful? What complete idiots they are in charge of such a psy-ops affair! Fuck them all!

Fake! Fake! Fake! Fake! Jáccuse! C'est vrai!

May I suggest, that when a rocket-attack warning signal is sounded, remove yourselves from the top stories of any multi-story buildings. Indoors or out, go quickly to the southern, or eastern, portion or side, (depending on your position relative to Gaza,) of any building, structure, artificial or natural device, or man-made construction, there to rest, in the sheltered, leeward side of what has to be the most consistently omni-directional line of attack in the entire history of armed clashes.

About a rocket's ability to sometimes pierce through reinforced concrete, when previously seen example after example, we note that the rockets most often don't adequetly even destroy their own structural bodies and tail fin assemblies---is a matter you will have to take up with your trusted leaders and authorities. Good luck.

This is what Israel has been reduced too! Faking carnage with a dying dog's blood! How dare they kill over 1,300 Palestinians on the back of this (wounded) animal's blood!
"An Israeli police officer kneels over a dog that was badly injured after a rocket landed in the southern town of Sderot, Israel on December 30, 2008. (GIL COHEN MAGEN/Reuters)"
Of course, the sort of rage I am expressing will only make a Jew gloat, since it serves the larger agenda, their must-needs, and fail-safe, operative gestures and plans. A self-fulfilling prophecy: antisemitism rearing its ugly head, on its cue. So be it.

Jews desperately need a 12-step program of recovery in order to reenter the honest community of man they think they've bested. But they were busted on 9-11, in both New York City and Arlington, and they were busted again with Bush and the neo-cons and the Christian freaks in Iraq; now they're busted in starting their own trumped up war based on a maliciously faked cause of action. Is the holocaust a total Jewish fabrication too? Is that where we are headed? The cesspool of lies stagnating within Jewish minds giving off what they spew out so, simply boggles my poor little potato-eating Irish head! Oh dear me! Will the Jews even leave any oxygen for me to breathe, I wonder? Oh poor, pitiful me!

CIA Special Adviser for WMD in Iraq Charles Duelfer, Senate Armed Services Chairman John Warner and Major General Keith Dayton

Can you believe that John Warner and Elizabeth Taylor were ever married, even for a moment? Just look at the Vulcan eye sockets. Oh, I forgot. She's Jewish. That explains it.

Add this image to your study carrel. General Dayton is the man teaching Palestinians in the West Bank how to subdue their countrymen the American way---with police brutality! I like the way he poses all innocent-like next to those other two horrors. Defend me from the horror of these three!

(Why doesn't Getty just shut me down, I wonder? Hmmm...)

The Israeli Security Fence

It's strangely beautiful in its way. I can't help but think it's insane---but then again, who am I to judge? I'm struck by how very small the overall dimensions are, 29 kilometers here, 15 miles there. A casual friend of mine is a Knight of the Order of St. John, or some such. He paid an official visit to Israel last year to deliver a check from New York intended to purchase one of those special, small-sized ambulances, which are used in the narrow streets of the Old City of Jerusalem. I wasn't sure of his politics, so I carefully broached the subject of the security fence to ask him what he thought. He is a thoughtful man, and he went quiet for a moment and then said, "I think it may signal the end for Israel." I guess in person and up close, the "fence," if you will, carries a quality of failed resignation about it. But on the map, all those little excursions looking like oil stains, of a people trying to eke out some more hectare of dusty Promised Land.

And such a big destabilizing effect comes across the planet from that old center of power. I will admit, I'm starting to feel a little manipulated by the Palestinians, and how they got up to speed in that game is very curious. Of course, Jews remain the masters of perception. Trouble is, I don't believe a single word they say. They've lost all credibility in my camp. I think they should all move here to Long Island, but they can't have it cheap! They have to pay market rates, and I know that will kill them! But it's my one small contribution. Then Jerusalem can be mandated as an internationally controlled city.

The Purpose-Driven Private E-mail Exchange with Pastor Rick Warlegs of Critical Saddle Backthrash

OK. So not my best title.

The following private-message exchange started when I put my big foot in my mouth. Someone had sent a video around that so inflamed and enraged me, I started recirculating it myself, not realizing that one person on the board who I was sending it to, was also my original source of it. It was that oopsie moment, which starts off my agitated, all-caps apology.

Then it took a turn with some gentlemanly advice from my correspondent, someone code-named warlegs. He took the opportunity to try and rectify a problem he had with the name I was using. It had been an emergency fill-in lent to me after I'd lost my own handle to some board guile and cunning. But the name, tman, had apparently been the handle of a popular board member who had died either tragically, violently, or maybe just recently, and a lot of feelings were still raw. Affecting a switch-over in a board identity is a tricky business in perilous times, and I'll let the thread take over from here,

The part which is of special interest to me is the discussion about Riskus, where warlegs finally asks
"What do you want from him?!?!?!?! As smart as you portray yourself, you must have some idea.......Masons......"
I think it's funny that people think they can "portray" themselves with an "image" that's a lie, but I know many from George Bush's background who do it just that way---hiding "assets," trying to play dumb for some advantage, such as with tradesmen, etc. Then warlegs< says the Masons thing, which is kind of cool. Is that where they store the brains? Mason jars? Reading the manual for Beta Theta Pi, it says that the leaders of tomorrow should be "identified," and then steered with scholarships and such. Is it normal for almost everybody to be corrupted and "handled" in this way? I don't know if I was ever classifiable as to-be-identified material. I guess that gets done later, in college.

To me, I can't believe I'm not taken at face value as being exactly who I "pretend" or act, or say I am (allowing for the fact we can all be bad actors or pretentious on occasions.)

I guess human beings really are so fundamentally different, divided neatly into two camps, that they can't---not won't, or don't---believe that other people are really honest when they say they are sincerely such and such. I think corrupted people don't really believe anyone else is possibly different. And I know for a fact that uncorrupted people can live in a dream world and not suspect that human beings are capable of stooping so low on a scale so vast. Welcome, George Bush.

For instance, I really don't believe conservatives are anything but selfish, autocratic, self-serving overlords. How could I not, when I believe the principle behind liberalism is altruism? I might play surrender to a good-daddy conservative, tied to a bed in Chelsea for a weekend, but not for an entire election term I won't.

And what the hell are the Mason's about anyway? Just a step up from the Kiwanis or the Elks? For some reason, Mason's just make me think of the Jewish pew in Episcopal churches--the last row on the left, if you're interested.

Of course, this comes up in the gay thing too. Apparently, straight men often think guys only "pretend" to be gay--perhaps as some sort of ploy to get more puss.....The truth is, we can get as much of that as we would ever want, but...ah...ah...beat...beat...get it? Jeez.

If straight guys only understood how freely they could get exactly the no-strings-attached, turn-into-a-pizza-and-a-beer-now-bitch servicing, at the most convenient non-reciprocate level they've always dreamed about, we could move into heaven on earth quickly.

But Rick Warren would prefer to take his fat body up to heaven than to have some heaven come down here to earth. It's silly, telling his flock they won't have wings, and there won't be a spongy cloud floor to walk on. Even promising a little wicked fun along the way. But it's sick the way their heads work, and that he thinks he's the way to let us in on the scoop.

When I first read the interview I thought the interview was great. But then I heard and saw the video, and I went holy cow! Success must have spoiled him. He spits out the tag lines. He doesn't even listen to the questions: hes like, "right...right...right." But it was the energy pattern---he's now under a lot of stress and where is that coming from? I would think that it must be hard hiding all the anger you feel toward God for the way everything is going for the "winning team!" Will Bush get indicted? Will that extend to the Eric Prince's of the world, and their crimes in Iraq?

Rick Warren really misspoke when he talked about gay people. People are getting a lot more serious about the issues. That editor of beliefnet.com was the real star I thought. Such willingness for penetrating honesty---it stood out. Maybe that's why Rick couldn't seem to catch his breath, but also didn't even seem to want to try.

Sorry gang, if you think I equate with pederasty, bigamy, and bestiality. I know that if there is a name for it, I didn't invent it, and if there is a Latin name for it, they've been doing it for a long time before I started. Gay sexuality really is so tangential to their real issues, which include dealing with their own sexuality first. In this way I feel Christianity is losing ground.

I have a lot more I want to say about Rick Warren, but it remains very inchoate for now. This is where I'll come back to when it becomes clearer.

A. B. Yehoshua

Israeli ambulance workers said the civilian killed in
the rocket attack was a middle aged man [AFP]

Israeli ambulance workers said the unnamed civilian killed in the May 10th, 2008, rocket attack was a middle-aged man. Three other people were wounded. The white and pink geraniums went unscathed, bless the Lord.

Next time Israel, name the victims please, and provide for a little collateral damage. You are not even trying any longer. Go straight to the millennial firecrackers.

A few days ago I read an interview with the Israeli novelist A.B. Yehoshua conducted by Todd Hasak-Lowy, a professor of modern Hebrew literature at the University of Florida, and first published at JBooks.com in June 2006, where Yehoshua said this:
"Saddam Hussein's 40 Scuds in the Gulf War and all the Kassem rockets that have been fired at Israel since the withdrawal from Gaza haven't killed a single Israeli civilian."
I had suspected that this, or something close to it, was the truth, but I lacked the ability to verify the fact, or the moral or intellectual authority to express it to any purpose.

To hear George Bush and Condoleezza Rice yesterday about Hamas rockets being responsible for the Israeli attacks into Gaza that killed over 200 Palestinians, feels like a gut blow to my consciousness. But with such coincidences---or, God-incidences, as I prefer to call them---as my recent stumbling upon Yehoshua's clarification, offers me the respite that God is indeed, on the case.

On edit: Dec. 30, That was quick. When they cover their faces up that way they look like they are lying. Soon to be out of the country for a few years, maybe upstate New York in a closed religious community, then maybe back, no one remembers, no one cares.

VIDEO - Kassam shrapnel kills Netivot man

Abe Selig, Jerusalem Post 12/27/2008
In response to Saturday’s IAF air strikes on Hamas in Gaza, Palestinians fired over 80 rockets and mortar shells at areas throughout the western Negev. In Netivot, 58-year-old Beber Vaknin was killed and five people were wounded - one seriously - when their house was hit by a rocket. All the wounded were evacuated to Beersheba’s Soroka Hospital. "After the first rocket landed, people wanted to see what had happened," one of Vaknin’s neighbors told The Jerusalem Post on Saturday night. "He went outside to look around when the rocket hit, and he was killed by the shrapnel. The medics said the shrapnel pierced his heart. " Vaknin was unmarried and held a clerical position in the southern town.

We are told by Time Inc. that the following shot of a 3rd-story "hole in the wall" is from Netivot. Apparently this is the attack that Israel claims took Vaknin's life while he was standing in his doorway across the street. A more logical argument would have Vaknin succumbing to a heart attack, or even a fatal injection into his heart muscle in order to cause death. As a low-key, life-long bachelor with no family nearby, he made for an ideal sacrifice. I'll call it the "hole in the story."

It is impossible to believe that for over three years, from July 2005, according to official Israeli sources, there were no fatalities in Israel due to rocket fire from Gaza, but then suddenly, after Israel launches a massive offensive to eliminate Hamas' ability to fire the rockets, there are clustered four deaths by rockets suddenly traveling twice their previous range! Transparent public relations pablum for the dumbed down goys, and symptomatic of the level to which lies are used to mask the truth.

Rockets fired from Gaza kill 2 Israelis within hour
By Amos Harel and Yanir Yagana, Haaretz Correspondents, Haaretz Service, and Reuters
Two Israelis were killed Monday evening as Gaza militants pelted southern Israel with rockets and mortar shells, as Israel concluded its third day of aerial assaults on the Gaza Strip.

One Israel Defense Forces soldier was killed in a mortar strike in a western Negev base, and another was seriously wounded. Four others were lightly hurt in the attack.

The other fatality occurred when a woman got out of her vehicle when she heard the early warning siren in the city of Ashdod, and sought shelter in a bus stop on the side of the road. She sustained critical shrapnel wounds, and later died. Another passerby who also ducked into the bus stop for shelter suffered serious injuries in the attack.

Three people were lightly hurt in Ashdod, which is situated some 35 kilometers from the Gaza border.
Name of Ashdod Rocket Victim Released
Reported: 00:31 AM - Dec/30/08

So, what do you think the chances are that the old year would not be seen out without finally, a fatality in much besieged Ashdod? And what a becoming, sympathetic victim she was too---just on schedule, a young mother of four to fan the divisive flames of hatred, which with the Jewish law of proportionality translates as one of mine, 400 of yours.

I've come to the conclusion that Jews don't need the rest of us in their play, they literally suck all the oxygen out of the atmosphere as they star as both protagonist and antagonist. Just take a look at this official-ish notice:
(IsraelNN.com) The woman killed in the Grad rocket attack on Ashdod Monday night was 39-year-old Irit Shitrit, a resident of the city.

According to Ynet, Irit and her sister had just finished a fitness workout and were driving home when the Color Red missile alert sounded. Following the instructions given out by security personnel, Irit got out of the car to seek cover when the rocket delivered its fatal blow. Her sister was also seriously wounded.

Their mother said that one of her daughters managed to notify her husband that they had been hit. Irit's husband was already in mourning. His mother died a month ago.
Sounds an awful lot like a private exchange and notification. The death supposedly occurred at a bus stop downtown---about as public a location as could be found. And the serious wounds are what again? And to whom?
From The Yeshiva World:
"Irit Sheetrit HY”D, 39, did the correct thing. She heard the siren, stopped her vehicle and headed to the bus stop for shelter. She was traveling together with her sister. The two spent the day together.

The sirens were heard in Ashdod at shortly after 9:00pm. Irit stopped and together with her sister, ran for cover, realizing they must find shelter. The 122mm Katyusha rocket slammed into the bus stop and she was gravely injured and died en route to Kaplan Hospital in Rechovot. Her sister remains in serious condition."

Here is Irit's sister Aylet at her funeral, belying the seriousness of her condition.

Its really awful to come to the conclusion that every word out of these mouths is a lie. Too bad these Zionist Jews are taking the low karmic road. Because now the game is over. They were always better behind the camera than with the lens trained directly on them. Look through the image archives to see the abundant bad acting.

Now that we have graduated to 'Grad' missiles (I guess that pesky old blockade couldn't keep out those big 122-cm Syrian, or are they Chinese missiles now?) Now the threat is really, really real and I'm really in shock.
"There, next to a bus station, Ashdod resident Irit Shitrit, was killed yesterday by a Grad missile as she ran to find shelter. Netanyahu stood on a hill not far from the deserted bus station. Nothing in the quiet green garden hinted at the horror that had taken place there just a few hours earlier."

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip — A rocket fired by Palestinian militants fell short of its target in Israel on Friday, striking a house in northern Gaza and killing two schoolgirls.

Roni Yechiah, 47. The father of four was killed Wednesday in a Qassam attack on Sderot. Feb. 28, 2008 "Yechiah was the first Israeli killed by a rocket since May, when two died in separate attacks." (Alberto Denkberg)

May 9, 2008 - Jimmy Kedoshim, 48, of Kibbutz Kfar Aza,
was killed by mortar fire from the Gaza Strip while tending his garden.

On Friday afternoon, a mortar bomb struck the front yard of Jimmy Kedoshim's house. Jimmy, who was working in the garden, was killed instantly. His wife, Anna, who had gone inside the house a little while before, was spared.

Kedoshim had been a member of Kibbutz Kfar Aza for over 30 years, to which he first came in 1974 as a member of a youth movement. After completing his army service in the paratroopers, he returned to the kibbutz, married and fathered three children. He was an Israeli national engine-powered paragliding champion, and channeled his love for parachuting into a company that specialized in aerial photography and advertising.

His oldest son, Eyal, said about his father, "Abba (father) died happy. The only thing in life that interested him was the good of the family, and everything he did for the sake of the family was done with a lot of love, openness and cooperation with Ima (mother) and with us, his children."

Jimmy Kedoshim was buried in the Kfar Aza cemetery. He is survived by his wife Anna and their three children: Eyal, Shaked and Stav

The 57-year-old woman who died in the rocket strike was taken to Barzilai hospital in Ashkelon, where she succumbed to her wounds, medical officials said.
"They rarely cause death or serious injury, but do cause fear and panic. In all, nine people, all civilians, are thought to have been killed in Israel by Qassam rockets since the first fatalities in June 2004. The last time someone was confirmed to have been killed inside Israel by Palestinian rocket fire was in July 2005."
How odd, A. B. Yehoshua speaking in June 2006 said that no Israelis had died of rocket attack.

May 12, 2008 - Shuli Katz, 69, of Kibbutz Gevaram,
was killed when a Kassam rocket fell a few meters from where she was standing in Moshav Yesha, 15 km (9 miles) east of the Gaza Strip.

Shuli Katz, a nurse by profession, had come with her son to see her sister-in-law, Leora Yunger, who was visiting from abroad. Katz was hit before she had a chance to enter the house.

It happened in an instant. One minute, Leora was in the kitchen, preparing for the long-awaited meeting with her good friend and sister-in-law. Suddenly, the warning siren wailed, there was a loud boom, and her friend lay dying on the ground. Shuli's son, Yariv, who had gone in to check that they were at the right house while his mother got out of the car, stood on the side, stunned and crying.
"[Before May 10th, 2008] The last time an Israeli civilian was killed by cross-border rocket fire was on February 27."

Palestinian rocket kills Israeli (01:28) Report Feb 27 -
A barrage of Palestinian rockets fired from the Gaza Strip has killed one person in Israel and follows the deaths of seven Palestinian militants in the Hamas-controlled territory.

Hamas launched a barrage of rockets at the Jewish state hours after an Israeli air strike killed five members of the Islamist movement's armed wing as they drove through southern Gaza.

Two more militants were killed in a separate air strike in northern Gaza while an eighth Palestinian was shot dead in the West Bank town of Nablus by an undercover Israeli unit.

The mounting violence is overshadowing efforts to kick start peace talks between Israel and President Mahmoud Abbas' Palestinian Authority.
Helen Long reports.

So it seems clear: the deaths didn't start until 2008, when Israelis got extraordinarily unlucky. Or was this the buildup to eventual action? Don't insurance agents do actuary tables of the likelihood of this sort of thing?

Dresden: Tuesday, February 13, 1945

August Schreitmüller's sculpture "Güte" ("Goodness") overlooks the destroyed city.

So how's that religion thing working out for you guys?

The best definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

"It had been decided that the raid would be a so-called double strike, in which a second wave of bombers would attack three hours after the first, just as the rescue teams were trying to put out the fires."[37]

By early morning on 14 February, Ash Wednesday, the center of the city, including its Altstadt, was engulfed in a firestorm, with temperatures peaking at over 1500 °C (2700 °F.) [70]

"Joseph Goebbels, wanted to use it as a pretext for abandonment of the Geneva Conventions on the Western Front. In the end, the only political action the German government took was to exploit it for propaganda purposes." [90]

Even with this, and they didn't abandon the "quaint" Geneva Conventions.

Howard Cowan, an Associated Press war correspondent, filed a story saying that the Allies had resorted to terror bombing.

Churchill subsequently distanced himself from the bombing.[98][103][104] On 28 March, 1945, Churchill, in a memo sent by telegram to General Ismay for the British Chiefs of Staff and the Chief of the Air Staff, wrote:
It seems to me that the moment has come when the question of bombing of German cities simply for the sake of increasing the terror, though under other pretexts, should be reviewed. Otherwise we shall come into control of an utterly ruined land… The destruction of Dresden remains a serious query against the conduct of Allied bombing. I am of the opinion that military objectives must henceforward be more strictly studied in our own interests than that of the enemy.

The Foreign Secretary has spoken to me on this subject, and I feel the need for more precise concentration upon military objectives such as oil and communications behind the immediate battle-zone, rather than on mere acts of terror and wanton destruction, however impressive.[105][106]
Whoever wrote this Wikipedia entry deserves the highest praise. Would that I created work of this caliber.

More Amateur Drag

This should really help with my credibility issue.

But it proves the principle that the simpler the solution, often the better.

What better than going with some pearls and a pair of sensible pumps, as the late, great Judy Garland? The evening of the day of her funeral, June 27, 1969, was insufferably hot in New York City, according to reports. All the dive bars and dance halls down in the Village had their doors swung open wide to catch a cool breeze, blaring her music from the jukeboxes. Perhaps the loss, and the special quality to her angst, led to the Stonewall riots later that evening.

"He it was that drove the nursing women who were in charge of frenzied Bacchus through the land of Nysa, and they flung their thyrsi on the ground as murderous Lycurgus beat them with his oxgoad."
