Madame Albright (fresh from discovering that most of her Jewish family was gassed and burned in Nazi death camps) gave a terse message to the Jews of Israel. She told Prime Minister Netanyahu that he should cease construction of Jewish homes because it provoked the Palestinians to bomb Jews. Where is her honor?
"The now detained Hamas spokesman, Ibrahim Gosheh, used to hold his press briefings in the Islamist parliamentarians' offices because they enjoy legal immunity. Hamas members were also allowed free movement and the right to organize public rallies in which their views opposing the peace process were aired and cheered".
Each morning Jews around the world turn on their news stations to learn if the body count in Israel has risen. Since Oslo and the Clinton arranged handshake on the White House lawn 9/93, 300 Jews have been murdered by Palestinian Arabs and several thousand injured, some maimed for life.
Jerusalem, September 18, 1997. The Israel High Court of Justice today received a petition from Jonathan Pollard's attorney, Larry Dub, requesting that the court disqualify Attorney General Eliyakam Rubinstein and his office from representing the government in the Pollard court case scheduled for hearing October 29,1997.
The Jewish people have good and plenty reasons to loathe and despise most of the press. While reporters and TV newspeople will accurately cover almost every news event with some reliability, when it comes to the Jewish State of Israel, all rules of ethical journalism cease. Even when they are forced to report on a bombing of Jews by Arabs, they manage to put a spin on the story that makes the Jews equally guilty for having been murdered.
The following is extracted from an article written by Amin Hewedy, former Egyptian Minister of Defense and Chief of General Intelligence titled "Goliath in Palestine". The article was published in AL-AHRAM WEEKLY, 11-17 September, 1997.
On the 14th Sept, "Geocartography" - published the results of a poll. Though this poll was sent to all the main newspapers in Israel, for some reason, it was not reported on by any one of them.
The subject of the poll dealt with the behavior of President Weizmann during the visit of Secretary of State Albright in Israel.

What the Palestinian Authority is telling it's own people about the latest murders.
September 2, 1997
Having talked with Maj.-Gen. (res.) Oren Shahor after he formally joined the Labor Party, I understand why the Palestinians have gotten away with violating the Oslo Agreements from the very beginning.

Gail Winston, Director, MEIR, Mid East Information Resource goes in depth to explain this mis-understood topic.
Madeleine Albright, US Secretary of State has been directly challenged in a letter of October 9 by the National Security Committee of the US Congress for her high-handed treatment of Israel.
The Congressmen ask Ms. Albright: "Does our government believe that Jewish Israelis have the right to live anywhere in the land of Israel, or does it believe that Jewish citizens residing in a sovereign, democratic Israel are restricted to certain "acceptable" zones? ...
An Israeli government report telling of the religious persecution of Christians under the Palestinian Authority rule. Bethlehem has become a Moslem city, a convert to Christianity is threatened to be charged as an Israeli spy ...
Letter sent by the General Secretary of the Council of Settlements in Judea and Samaria ("YESHA") , Aharon Domb, to the members of the Likud Central Committee
Every day, the Israeli Press serves us our fix of diversions, usually planted by the opposition. Could it be that the opposition has nothing of substance to say?
(Analysis by Roni Shaked, Yediot Ahronot, 15.10.97, "Sukkot Supplement," pp2-5)
Analysis done by Roni Shaked from Yediot Ahronot tells how the PA are treating terrorists with Jewish blood on their hands, a flagrant violation of the Oslo agreements.

This affair captured my attention on the occasion of a visit which Shimon Peres made to India in his heyday. The Kashmir region has a Muslim majority and a Hindu minority. It is ruled by Indian, and is afflicted by murderous Muslim terrorism. Peres, who wanted to please his Indian hosts, defended Hindu minority rule over the Muslim majority. Not one of the journalists there asked him: Why in your Kashmir, which is known as the West Bank, do you do the opposite?

Reciprocity - Never!,
December 24, 1997
Winston Mideast Analysis & Commentary
Yassir Arafat, with acknowledged support from the Clinton government, has proven that he will never, ever honor any agreement made with the Jewish State. The Clinton Administration has shown that, while it demands that agreements be kept for itself, when it comes to the Jewish State both the US and the Arab nations may break any agreement and the Clinton Administration will keep silent. This does not stop the Clinton Administration, in lockstep with Arafat, from cooking up new Reciprocity Agreements with which Israel must comply - but ONLY Israel, not the PLO. Israel's submission is considered vital to secure Clinton's place in history and Al Gore's victory for President.

Time to Decide,
December 1, 1997
It is unwise to wait any longer. It is time to make the decision that will allow the multi-millennial saga of our people to continue. Fifty years ago enlightened mankind through UN resolution 181 grudgingly agreed to allow the re-creation of the Jewish State. The dream came true, the Jews were again to become free people in a free country. Blinded by the happiness, they did not notice that the UN was already regretting its move ...

American soldiers found a vast treasure trove said to include the entire German gold reserve in a salt mine today. Fritz Vieche, an official of the Reichsbank, was on guard. He said the subterranean vaults contained approximately 100 tons of gold bullion, two million dollars in currency, a 100 million francs in French currency, 110,000 British pounds, four million Norwegian crowns, and lesser amounts in other currencies.
A U. S. Treasury spokesman at Washington said the bullion would be worth about 100 million dollars. Lt. Col. William I. Russell, of Chevy Chase, Md., Military Government officer attached to the 90th, said there was "absolutely no reason to doubt any of Vieche's statements because he is under no pressure and has nothing to gain by lying."
The salt mine also sheltered a priceless art collection. The gold and currency were stored in a room 2100 feet under the ground.
Priceless Art Collection
"The gold was brought from Berlin by train, starting Feb. 11, and later all the rest of the treasures was brought in," Vieche said. "Later when the Berlin printing presses were all destroyed by bombing, we attempted to return the paper currency back to the capital.
"However, because of blown bridges and the fact that American armor moved so swiftly, we were unable to escape with the paper currency."
The Third Army tonight issued an official statement that there was "no certification yet on the captured German gold bullion because no American actually has seen it. However, there is no question whatsoever that paper currency and art treasures are stored inside the mine."
Vault Doors Clamped
It was some time before the American Doughboys got into the underground vault because the Germans had clamped the doors closed. Capt. James McNamara, of Los Angeles, was the first to enter.

"Gee. I never saw so much money in my life than when I walked into the room and saw those bags stacked up against the wall," he said.
The storage vaults are so deep, the trip down in an elevator takes two or three minutes. The statues and paintings were in wooden cases with Vienna, Brussels or Paris stamped on them suggesting some may contain stolen art, though the German civil servants said it all belonged to Germany before the war.

"Most of these treasures were brought here between March 20 and April 4, Including a thousand cases of paintings and statues, 150 tapestries, a thousand engravings, and 120 cases containing the original Goethe collection from Weimar," he said.
Mekers is 90 miles west of Weimar. The tip-off on the hidden treasure came late yesterday when two military policemen stopped two women who were on their way to get a midwife for a friend. Walking with them, they passed the mine entrance. One woman said: "That's where the bullion is hidden." The M.P. barked: "What did you say?" She repeated her remark.
The M.P's investigated at once. Eight civil servants were in charge of the treasure. They showed no inclination to run away.
"Russians Too Close"
Another of the German guardians, Wolf von Kurzel, said: "The pictures were removed from Berlin because the Russians were pushing too close." Rave shrugged when asked what the pictures and sculptures were worth. "They're priceless," he said.
Almost 200 British prisoners of war had been forced to work the salt mine until recently. One of these was a sergeant from Liverpool. "I've been working for the past two years," he said. "I saw the gold coming in on trucks from time to time. I reckon I saw 20 ten-ton trucks loaded to capacity enter the mine."
Vieche disputed this estimate 200 tons of gold. "The gold is stored in a room 120 meters long and 20 meters wide," he said. "The gold is in bars and each bar weighs 25 pounds. The gold is piled across the entire floor space and is stacked three feet high. The bars are packed in sacks with 75 pounds approximately to each sack.'
Cognac Store Found
The 90th, which is commanded by Brig. Gen. Herbert L. Earnest, of Richmond, Va., captured another salt mine in the neighborhood which contained vast quantities of cognac and champagne. In another salt mine, the 90th found an underground industrial set-up so large it was called "an underground Ruhr." It covered an approximate 10 mile area and worked a vast number of slaves.

January 25, 2002, [Revised January 28, 2002] [1st web capture, October 22, 2002] FromtheWilderness.com, A White Knight Talking Backwards; Spy Case In Canadian Courts Suggest US Naval Officer Had Foreknowledge of 9-11, by Michael C. Ruppert, Archived,
EDITORIAL NOTE: In our original story we indicated that the note written by Delmart "Mike" Vreeland had been sealed in court records. We based this on a misreading of Canadian press stories. In fact, the warning of the World Trade Center attacks, written by Vreeland on either August 11th or 12th has been introduced into open evidence in Vreeland’s case in Toronto. Using court records in our possession, FTW has scanned the document and it is available for viewing in this story. We apologize for the error. Following is a revised story which we feel is the best way to present this important information in context.
TORONTO, [Filed January 25, 2002, and Revised January 28, 2002]
Delmart Edward "Mike" Vreeland, an American citizen whose claims to being a US Naval Lieutenant assigned to the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) are being increasingly corroborated in open court, has been in a Canadian jail since December 6, 2000. On August 11 or 12 of 2001, the date is uncertain, after trying to verbally alert his Canadian jailers to the coming World Trade Center attacks, he wrote down key information and sealed it in an envelope which he then had placed in jailers’ custody. This event is not disputed by Canadian authorities. The letter specifically listed a number of targets including The Sears Towers, The World Trade Center, The White House, The Pentagon, The World Bank, The Canadian parliament building in Ottawa and the Royal Bank in Toronto.
A chilling sentence follows the list of targets, "Let one happen. Stop the rest!!!"
When the envelope was opened on September 14th it set off alarms in the US and Canada.
The US wants Vreeland back in the States on a Michigan warrant for credit card fraud - using his own credit card. Vreeland, convinced that a return to the US means certain death, wants to stay in Canada in a witness protection program. His lawyers Rocco Galati and Paul Slansky, two former Canadian prosecutors, agree with Vreeland’s assessment. They should. Both have been the victims of harassment and threats including dead cats hung on porches and car windows smashed out in car burglaries.
The position of the United States government, as represented by Crown Solicitors in Toronto, is that all of this is nonsense. Vreeland, says the Navy, was discharged as a Seaman after a few months of service for unsatisfactory performance in 1986. He has never had anything to do with intelligence according to 1200 pages of Navy records filed in Toronto Superior Court.
"How is it," says Galati, "that the Navy says that he was only in the service a few months and then send us a 1200 page personnel file? Some of the entries are obvious forgeries or alterations and the sanitizing of his records was done so hurriedly that some dates of medical exams in the 1990s were left intact."
In a January 10, 2002 tactic worthy of Perry Mason, with the greatest possible risk to his client if it failed, attorney Slansky got the judge to agree to let him call the Pentagon from open court. Using a speaker phone, in front of at least six witnesses, Slansky first dialed directory information and got a number for the Pentagon switchboard. Then, calling that number he asked the Department of Defense operator to locate the office of Lt. Delmart Vreeland. Within moments the operator had confirmed Vreeland’s posting, his rank as a Lieutenant O-3, his room number and given Slansky his direct-dial number.
All of this is a part of the court record.
On January 17, as this writer sat in the courtroom, another mind-numbing event occurred.
As Vreeland sat shackled in a corner, closely flanked by two guards, the Crown Solicitor sought to debunk Vreeland’s assertions that he had been assigned to travel to Moscow to review and retrieve highly technical and classified documents pertaining to Russian and Chinese efforts to counter the proposed US "Star Wars" missile defense system. [Ed note: FTW believes this to be a cover story.] "Why," said the Crown Solicitor, "would the US choose, in a case involving some of the most highly technical intelligence, a random seaman with training in the tool and die field." The point that someone discharged in 1986 with no special training and rank would be sent to review technical documents sounded reasonable - assuming that Vreeland’s background was as the Solicitor argued.
The reasonableness vanished a few moments later as the Crown Solicitor argued that Vreeland, who has been in jail and without access to a computer for thirteen months, had somehow cracked the Pentagon’s personnel records and inserted his name, an office number, and telephone extension into the Pentagon database.
No one except for Vreeland and attorney Galati seemed to notice the contradiction.
The Crown Solicitor ventured further through the looking glass by then arguing that Vreeland, having certain papers in his possession at the time of his arrest, had memorized Russian and Albanian documents and then had translated them from memory. Vreeland doesn’t speak Russian or Albanian. The judge, noticing this stretch of credibility, asked the Solicitor to restate the point. The argument then became that Vreeland had an unnamed colleague go to an unspecified web site, print Russian and Albanian documents for him, and then used foreign language dictionaries to translate them.
Vreeland’s extradition process could take years and his time in jail has not been easy. There have been threats, illnesses and his every move is watched. Galati and Slansky wonder how long his psyche will hold up. The history of jailhouse deaths of key witnesses leans heavily in favor of Vreeland’s belief that he could be killed at any moment. His apparent strategy is to not reveal any accurate Top Secret material to either his lawyers or the press, hoping that his silence will provide him with some support from US clandestine services. This a standard approach taken in dozens of similar cases researched by FTW in the past They include the cases - well known in research circles - of William Tyree and Michael Riconosciuto. Tyree has been jailed on a questionable murder conviction since 1979 and Riconosciuto on a variety or drug-related charges since the early 1990s. Both men have been directly connected to CIA and other intelligence operations by official documents.
"We don’t need to know and we don’t want to know the secret details, "says Galati. "They’re not necessary for us to do the job of keeping our client alive and in Canada. He faces a special danger in the US because he has also been an informant against an organized crime family in Michigan where the criminal charges originate. The most he is facing there is two years but we believe he might not live for two days in that system."
Additional press reports indicate that Vreeland’s intelligence work was connected to drug smuggling - a much more likely reason for his trip to Moscow. And the history of the relations between Naval Intelligence and the mafia is documented as far back as the Second World War when ONI officers made deals with convicted mafia don Lucky Luciano and his lieutenant Vito Genovese to protect New York docks and assist with the subsequent Allied invasion and occupation of Italy.
Mike Vreeland is one man who, in a rational world, could totally expose the complicity of the US government in the attacks of September 11th. No one has disputed what he wrote and stuffed into that envelope. In a rational world that would be the most pressing and public inquiry of all. The two questions remaining are whether Vreeland will live and whether or not he will ever tell what he knows. That may be a mutually exclusive proposition.
FTW has retained the services of freelance journalist Greta Knutsen in Toronto to report on developments in this critical case for our subscribers. Important updates will be posted and sent out via subscriber bulletin to our readers as they become available.

BBC Coverage of Palestinians Celebrating on 9/11
The following 17-minute YouTube video is an edited mashup of television coverage from September 11th, 2001, much coming from a Japanese Television station, KTF.
A portion consists of KTF's rebroadcasting of BBC News reports on "Palestinians celebrating" in East Jerusalem. BBC anchorman Philip Hayton in the studio in London interviews BBC correspondent Frank Gardner on the telephone in Cairo. A different BBC correspondent, James Robbins then narrates the famous footage. Robbins' segment aired at 1:51 p.m. EDT, but the same footage had run earlier without narration, at 11:22 a.m., during an unrelated interview with Steven Simon, of the International Institute for Strategic Studies, when the BBC anchor interrupts their conversation to remark offhand, "Here we're seeing Palestinian celebrations somewhere in the Middle East. A degree of joy."
After a diligent search, I cannot find the 22-second Hayton-Gardner telephone exchange anywhere else in the collections of archived BBC coverage. The window for its airing is small. The chyron says that both World Trade towers had already collapsed, so it would have been after the second tower's collapse at 10:28 a.m., but it surely would have preceded the 11:22 a.m. airing of the footage as a stunning non-sequitur.
This is followed by Hayton interviewing Abdul Bari Atwan, the editor of London's Arab daily Al Quds, in the studio.

A Japanese TV crew records the reaction of New Yorkers as they witness the collapse of the Twin Towers on 9/11. The BBC broadcasts footage of celebrating Palestinians and then interviews an Arabic newspaper editor who predicts Osama bin laden connection. US TV anchor man takes on 9/11 conspiracy theorists.________________________________________________________________________________

Anchorman Philip Hayton: Well, let's try and gauge Arab reaction now. We're joined on the line now by our correspondent Frank Gardner in Cairo. What is the official and unofficial reaction---how are people reacting in the street, Frank?
2:41
[Switches to a "News Update" chyron with Frank Gardner's image as he reports live over the phone.]
Frank Gardner: Well, they're very different, Phillip. Um, it may come as a shock but on the street---certainly in the Palestinian refugee camps all across the Middle East---there's been jubilation, chanting, cheering, celebratory gunfire, people have been handing out sweets...they're ecstatically happy...they're saying. "Now at last America is having a taste of the same sort of suffering that we the Palestinians have had."
3:03
[Switch to the later airing of footage of men clapping wildly inside a truck as they try to drive through the crowd of children celebrating in the street in East Jerusalem.]
3:06
James Robbins: In the Arab quarter of Jerusalem they're celebrating the massacre and mayhem in the United States, What's a disaster in much of the world is seen as a triumph by some, It's evidence of how much hatred has already been refueled by this disaster. Now American intelligence, which missed stopping the attacks, will desperately be searching for the culprits. To find who's behind it, they first asked how was it done.

Announced at 10:39 a.m., this puts a time stamp of 10:29 a.m. on when reports of Palestinian celebrations "emerged." This is one minute after the timing of the second tower's collapse.
We have been receiving reports in the last ten minutes or so, of celebrations taking place in Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon, and also of impromptu celebrations taking place on the West Bank
3:35
[Back to London newsroom.]Anchorman: Joining me now is Abdul Bari Atwan, the editor of London's Arab daily Al Quds. Welcome, help us make some sense of this then. Are you convinced then, this attack--these attacks--today have a Middle East connection?
3:51
Abdul Bari Atwan: I'm not surprised if there is a Middle East connection. Until now we don't have any proof. We are waiting for the American investigation to tell us who was behind it, but, you know that the American feeling in the Middle East is extremely high and the American feeling in the Islamic world also is extremely high. People are really dissatisfied with the American foreign policies. They can see the Americans siding with Israel. Now Israel is launching a war against the Palestinians. So there is a connection between Israel and the United States. So there's also groups, Islamic fundamentalist groups, always indicated that America is their arch enemy, and they are going to hate, and also we we witnessed some attacks, recently, a year ago, when Abud[?] attacked the American destroyer in Aden, the seaport of Aden in Yemen, so...maybe and bin Laden also declared a war against the United States, and he issued a fatwa--and Islamic ruling, to attack America, because they are the enemy of the Muslim world.
4:48
Anchorman: Many Americans will be disturbed to see Arabs dancing in the streets for joy today when they heard news of these attacks. How do you explain that and to what extent is that representative?
5:00
Abdul Bari Atwan: You know, everybody, actually, is appalled by this. It is a tragic...I don't think any Arabs...you know, sensible Arabs, would support attacks against civilians. You know, we are human being, we understand, you know, that those people who are suffering are human American, but you know, those people who dance, that they are minority. How many of them? A thousand? You know, you have, you have, you know, that 250 million Arabs in the...a thousand don't represent, or you know, that all those Arabs all over the world, so we shouldn't exaggerate here, we shouldn't take this as a representation of the Arab feeling. No, we condemn these attacks. It is a terrorist attack, innocent people are suffering. And we have also to remember that also the Arabs are under under attacks and they are facing similar policies but not with these devastating....
5:47
Anchorman: How---just let me assess---how hard was the evidence you had something like this was going to happen? And why don't you think American intelligence was on to it?
5:55
Abdul Bari Atwan: Well actually you know the American intelligence were aware of these attacks, you know, but they expected to take place in, in....outside United States. American embassies were closed in the Gulf states simply because there were threats. American embassies in Africa where closed because, you know, there was a lot of warning, you know, warning, that they will be attacked. So the intelligence, American intelligence service were aware of these attacks, But I think they miscalculated, they thought it will take place in the Middle East or in Africa or on the third world. They didn't believe that this thing will happen, and the heart of the American economy, at the heart of American financial capital, New York, and also it will attack the Pentagon was supposed to be very very secure.
6:33
Anchorman: How do you think the Americans are going to react now? In judging on past form, they sent cruise missiles, didn't they, into Afghanistan. They hit a factory in Sudan, which later turned out to have no involvement in the attacks
6:46
Abdul Bari Atwan: Philip, I feel about any American reprisal, I think it would be foolish and useless, because they sent their missiles to hit the Taliban...they sent 75 missiles--that was about three years ago--hit Afghanistan, but they didn't kill bin Laden, and it didn't prevent such attacks. The minute that destroyer Cole was attacked in Aden, I believe it should be--we expected it to be a civilized, ah, ah, you know--reaction. When I say 'civilized reaction,' they should ask themselves: 'why the American embassies, and American people are attacked all over the world?'
Earlier on in this video, at 1:40, Zbigniew Brzeinski, Former US National Security Advisor, is interviewed on Japanese television:
...because this will require some effort and this will require very serious action. It will involve undertakings which involve the use of force internationally, and it's going to be a challenge to all of us to exercise self-restraint and therefore this in a way, is a test of the international system in the 21st century.
