Tenzin Choegyal

After the visit of John, our Aruyvedic masseur, next up on the schedule was our hosting the visit of Tibetan Buddhist monks from the Panchen Lama's Tashi Lhunpo Monastery in Bylakuppe, India, in town to make a sand mandala at our local art museum---part of an exhibition conceptualized around sand (one gallery was named Littoral Drift, for instance.)

But it was the accompanying minstrel Tenzin Choegyal who stole the show for me. Here's a sampling of his musicianship.

The dissolution ceremony afoot.

This is either Door-Jay or Lap-Sang. I could never get it straightened out.

The name of the woman on the left is Maude. She "heals emotional wounds you never even knew you had." Seems like a good line of work to be in.
