Easter 2009

My best scalloped potatoes ever.

With a deliciously glazed ham.

My favorite guest was Robin--ne, Rob. When you get into this level of courage and authenticity you begin to know the real meaning of ascension.

On holy Monday we went for a walk on the beach. This is Calvin Klein's house---or castle, if you prefer. He just got a permit to tear it down, so as to replace it with something more modest. The "new tear down" aesthetic at work.

I think it is a shame. The " Trupin Castle" as it is properly referred to as, is a symbol of eighties excess like no other. I think it should be finished rather than be condemned.

Here are two of its neighbors. Both are historic houses.
